Stress, sleep, eating disorders, smoking, drinking - u ask for it we've got it. In fact you could hear all about these things at this years, BISM's first Health Day. Talk about increased awareness of what I am weak at - lack of sleep , stress hungry all the time ?! Thankfully, the presentations given had given me in turn the answers or rather solutions i needed to finally increase my energy capacity.
Thanks to all the year 12s and 13s who hosted great presentations i can honestly say that i feel more upbeat all ready.
It was interesting to hear about some things like stress or sleeping which I daily experience from a more impersonal point of view and actually hear some advice and get some remedies on ways to lead a Healthier life. Sometimes its the really simple advice which actually gives a perspective and makes you realize where you are going wrong. It makes you more knowledgeable and gave me an idea of what i can do to fix my problems.
I really valued the amount of input we have all put into this project and I think we can safely say that it gave us all to think about - like how much time we should dedicate to Facebook and the computer - blogging infact:) What eat and how we eat was also talked about and made me realize how much vitamins Im missing out on. So overall Health Day gave me many things to work on and plan and I hope I can fulfill them.
